I started developing websites in 2007 but over the years I realized that I was more of a magnet for clients who had problems with their current site. There were more companies that needed their current site tweaked in some way whether it was the addition of a script or implementing a particular style.

More people are using DIY open-source applications like WordPress and Joomla! and they just need some help from an expert from time to time. There are design firms that do a wonderful job designing websites from scratch for customers with a high budget – but I just want to help the organizations that already understand the usefulness of the myriad of open-source tools that are available.
