I WANT TO KEEP THINGS SIMPLE AND STRESS-FREE,
SO LET’S ALL PLAY BY THE RULES.

Scope of Work preparation

To initiate a Scope of Work – which also serves as a proposal and service agreement, I need to have the following:

  1. an electronically submitted quote request,
  2. a phone conversation about your specific needs, and
  3. a specific deadline or planned launch timeframe that we can adhere to.

Project Initiation

The initiation of your web design or membership management project requires:

  1. signatures on my custom prepared scope of work proposal,
  2. the first payment in the scope of work payment schedule, and
  3. your logo or other content that is required to be used in the initial phase.

Timeliness

I provide you with an estimated timeline and delivery schedule in order to meet your deadline. I require that your understand and adhere to the project timeline and that any delays caused by you can result in various consequences. I will work with you if you decide you need to make adjustments to a delivery schedule. However, if there is a significant delay I reserve the right to place your project on hold and/or charge an additional fee for lengthy delays.

Billing

My web agreement includes a payment plan which includes a deposit, milestone payment(s), and remaining balance. If you have not completed all payments your site will not be eligible for further support.

My basic database package or maintenance requests require entire up front payment of the number of estimated hours.

Cancellations

If you change your mind about your project before the launch of your site, you will be financially responsible for the amount of work already completed. Depending on the amount of work completed when you request a cancellation, this may mean you will receive a partial refund, receive no refund, or owe additional fees.

You are not eligible to receive support of any type after cancellation, this applies to any post-launch support stated in the agreement.

Right To Refuse Service / Abuse of My Services

I understand how important is is to work with the right team. I reserve the right to decline to give you a quote upon your initial submission of a quote request if I feel we may not be a good match or your project contains unlawful or objectionable information of any kind. During our initial conversation, I will let you know whether or not we can work together.

I truly expect clients to follow guidelines for completing projects and communicating requests and approvals. I will do my best to remedy disputes you may have about my work – so please ask for a peaceful resolution first.

Confidentiality

I will never share your information with third parties unless required to do so by law or requested by you. The information you provide will be used to maintain your services with me and to represent the quality of our work to others. I will take every step to make sure your information and customer or member database remains confidential.
